Family Court Committee

The mandate of this Committee is to:

  • Consider and examine resources available in the community for family and children’s matters
  • To make recommendations to City Council, the Attorney General, and others, when required

This Committee will appeal to the following individuals that:

  • Have a general interest in law, community family and children’s matters
  • Have experience in the fields of education, health, probation, or human resources
  • Are a representative of the Richmond business community

Details of this volunteer Committee position are:

  • A one year commitment
  • Availability to attend a Committee meeting at Richmond City Hall one Wednesday evening per month
  • Additional availability on weekdays to attend court as an observer at least twice a month.
