Family Court Committee

The mandate of this Committee is to:
- Consider and examine resources available in the community for family and children’s matters
- To make recommendations to City Council, the Attorney General, and others, when required
This Committee will appeal to the following individuals that:
- Have a general interest in law, community family and children’s matters
- Have experience in the fields of education, health, probation, or human resources
- Are a representative of the Richmond business community
Details of this volunteer Committee position are:
- A one year commitment
- Availability to attend a Committee meeting at Richmond City Hall one Wednesday evening per month
- Additional availability on weekdays to attend court as an observer at least twice a month.
