This summer, music fans can again enjoy some eclectic live music and dinner on the dock at the historic Britannia Shipyard in Steveston.

The Musical Expressions Concerts on the Dock series takes place in the beautiful waterside surroundings on the dock at Britannia Shipyard, a national historic site, and will run from June 17 to September 9. Sea shanties and sailor songs will be the focus on Saturday, August 19, 2006 when North By West performs in conjunction with the annual Maritime Festival at Britannia. The series wraps up on Saturday, September 9 when Tiller’s Folly performs high energy acoustic roots music with a Pacific Northwest flair.

The Concerts on the Dock series is hosted by Richmond recording artist Cherelle Jardine, who will open each show with a brief set of songs, including selections from her new CD, Head Traffic.
