Dinsmore Bridge Open to Limited Traffic

The Dinsmore Bridge is now open to limited traffic. With temporary bracing in place, the bridge has been declared safe to re-open with the following precautionary restrictions until permanent repairs can be completed.
- Weight: Vehicles weighing less than 5 metric tonnes will be permitted
- Speed: A temporary speed limit of 30 km/hr will be strictly enforced
- Width: The west-bound lane will be narrowed to 3.2 metres
The bridge was temporarily closed on October 4, 2006 after it was struck by a truck travelling on River Road, which passes beneath the south end of the bridge.
