Calamity Jane to Shake up Richmond’s Musical Expressions

Calamity Jane, a BC-based quartet of talented musicians, guarantees to put on a crowd-pleasing musical performance this Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Richmond Cultural Centre.
This entertaining quartet delivers polished arrangements of original pieces as well as songs from well-loved artists. Their music is sprinkled with hilarious stories about musical adventures and inspirations. Tasteful props illustrate their material in a unique and enjoyable way.
Calamity Jane’s sparkling vocals originate from Georgina Arntzen, Nancy Herb and Joan Reiter, arranged and performed with accomplished guitarist Rod Nagel.
Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Centre – at the front desk or by telephone 604-231-6457. The Richmond Cultural Centre is located at 7700 Minoru Gate (beside the Richmond Public Library). The Cultural Centre doors open at 7:30 p.m. with entertainment starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $6 in advance or $8 at the door (admission is free for children under 12).
Musical Expressions is an eclectic monthly showcase of local performers, hosted by well-known Richmond musician Cherelle Jardine.
