Spots Available in Burky’s Licensed Preschool for 2006-2007 School Year

Burky’s Preschool, located in the quaint Burkeville neighbourhood in north Richmond, has spots available for children 3-4 years beginning in September 2006.
Operated by Sea Island Community Association, Burky’s Preschool creates an environment that fosters positive emotional, cognitive and physical development and that values inclusion, multiculturalism, interdependence and dignity. The program is licensed by the Richmond Health Department and is run by qualified Early Childhood Education instructors with the assistance of parent participation.
“Our aim is to enhance the lives of children, their families and the community by providing a caring, supportive and vital community service,” says Melanie Pavich, Preschool Supervisor. “At Burky's Preschool we believe that families are entitled to be involved in a meaningful way in the child's preschool experience and deserve assurance of quality care for their children.”
Located at Sea Island Community Centre, 7140 Miller Road in Richmond, Burky’s Preschool begins September 5th, 2006 and runs through to June 20/21, 2007. The days and times available for the 2006-07 school year are as follows:
