Richmond Fire-Rescue members are volunteering to travel to Sri Lanka in March of 2006, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Fire Fighters will be assisting in the building of homes in an area devastated by the tsunami in December 2004. In Sri Lanka, there are currently over one million homeless people.

We are raising funds to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of those who have suffered and continue to suffer from the devastation last year. Please visit our car wash, learn more about how we are volunteering to make a difference, and know that your contribution will make a brighter future for those less fortunate. Together, we can make a difference.

  • Car wash by donation
  • Child car safety seat inspections by donation
  • Fire trucks will be onsite
  • Food generously donated by M & M Meat Shops

Join us for this fun family event! All monies raised will go to the Richmond Fire Fighters Habitat for Humanity Global Village Trip in March of 2006. Your support will help our Fire Fighters who have volunteered to travel to Sri Lanka to build homes for those in dire need.
