Christmas Tree Recycling

Give Your Tree Back to Nature
Bring your Christmas tree in for recycling at one of the following locations:

Garry Point Park
Empty lot next to the concession (on corner of Mountain Street and 7 Avenue)
Dates:  Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8, 2006
Hours:  9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All donations will go to Richmond Fire Fighters Society’s charities

Sponsors:  Richmond Environmental Programs, Richmond Fire-Rescue, Richmond Parks, Fraser Richmond Soil & Fibre, and International Paper Industries.

Recycling Depot
5555 Lynas Lane

Dates:   Wednesday to Sunday
Hours:  9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Closed on Statutory Holidays)

For single-family dwellings, you can leave your Christmas tree at the curb side for
Yard and garden trimmings collection on garbage and recycling collection day. The size limit is 3 ft x 2 ft, so please cut and bundle your tree to the requested size.

All tinsel and ornaments must be removed.
