Community Spirit Awards Entry Deadline Near

Honour the outstanding efforts of an individual or group in our community who has contributed to making Richmond better in every way. Submit your nomination for the City of Richmond Community Spirit Awards by Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.
Individuals and organizations are eligible for a Community Spirit Award if they care about the community; continuously contribute to the community and the well-being of Richmond citizens; and/or dedicate their volunteer time to Richmond or a Richmond-based organization.
Recipients will be recognized for their contributions in one of the following categories:
- Arts & Culture
- Education
- Environment
- Health, Wellness & Sport
- Intercultural Diversity
- Seniors
- Youth
Nomination forms are available on the City website and at local civic facilities and can be sent in by:

Community Spirit Award winners will be selected based on the information supplied on the nomination form including the nominee’s area of contribution, their accomplishments and their impact on the Richmond community. Awards will be presented by Richmond City Council at the Civic Appreciation Event on Thursday, October 20, 2005.
