Come Share Your History in Richmond
23 August 2005
Work with a team of experienced educators and develop new skills (or refresh old ones). A few hours a week is all that it takes to make a difference in the lives of others. Share your story and bring the story of Richmond's Heritage Sites alive. Be a Richmond Volunteer Heritage Educator and inspire young people to learn more about the community in which they live.
Britannia Shipyard National Historic Site, Richmond Nature Park and the Richmond Museum are recruiting volunteers with the energy and enthusiasm to make Richmond's history come alive. Richmond Volunteer Heritage Educators are trained to deliver exciting, innovative educational programs to school groups two hours a week from October to June. No prior experience necessary, good communication skills, enjoy working with children, adaptable, dependable. Your goal is to bring them back to the past.
