Richmond Parking Advisory Committee - Invitation to Fill Vacancies

The Richmond Parking Advisory Committee provides the City with input into the planning and management of parking citywide to ensure that valuable urban space is utilized in the most efficient manner.

We are seeking Committee members to fill vacancies in the following categories:

• Retail Centres/Merchants (up to 3 members)
• Richmond Employee (1 member)

Successful applicants will be appointed for a 2-year term. If you are interested in participating, please submit a letter of interest by January 16, 2006 stating:

• Category of Committee member you are applying for
• Your interest in participating on the Committee
• What you think are the major parking issues in the city, the potential solutions and how you can contribute to their resolution
• Place of employment/business and position
• Name, home address, daytime telephone number and e-mail address (if available)
• Preferred meeting dates (day of the week) and times

It should be noted that these are voluntary positions, with no remuneration.
