Fire Fighters Fashion Show Boosts Global Village Aid

Richmond fire fighters will participate in a special fundraising fashion show, dinner and dance on Sunday, October 16, 2005 to raise funds for the Richmond fire fighters Cathay Pacific Global Village Trip.
Richmond Fire Rescue members are volunteering to travel to Sri Lanka in early 2006, in partnership with Habitat For Humanity. Fire fighters will be assisting in the building of homes in an area devastated by the tsunami in December 2004. In Sri Lanka, there are currently over one million homeless people. The trip is being sponsored by Cathay Pacific.
The Richmond Fire Fighters Cathay Pacific Global Village Trip Fashion Show, Dinner and Dance will be held on Sunday October 16, 2005 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Continental Seafood Restaurant, 150 - 11700 Cambie Road.
