Richmond Recreation Offers Ultimate Summer Experience
06 May 2005
The City of Richmond Recreation and Cultural Services Division launches its summer registration offering an abundance of activities to make this summer an ultimate experience.
Summer registration for Recreation and Cultural Programs is underway with programs for people of all ages and interest levels, ranging from swimming classes and skimboarding workshops to drama camp and yoga on the dock.
“Sign up now and choose from a smorgasbord of recreation and cultural opportunities,” says Kim Somerville, the City’s Special Projects Co-ordinator. “The choices are incredible, and best of all you don’t have to wait to organize everything you would like to do this summer.”
Registration for recreational programs is fast, is easy to do and is available 24-hours a day seven days a week. You can conveniently register for any program by using one of four methods: the Internet, the Registration Call Centre, your touch-tone telephone, or in-person at the community centres.
This year’s summer programming also includes a varied collection of daycamps, health and wellness programs, arts and heritage programs, special events and recreational and educational activities for all ages.
To register online visit Program Registration on this site. Touch-tone telephone users can register anytime by phoning 604-276-4300 and following voice prompts. Customers can also sign up for programs offered at any civic facility through the City’s Registration Call Centre by dialing 604-276-4300, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and pressing “0” for a Customer Service Agent.
To register using the Internet or by Touch Tone phone, you will need a Family PIN and Client Number and your Visa or Mastercard number and expiry date. You will also need the Class Number and Community Code from the Recreation & Culture Guide.
In addition, the popular Recreation & Culture Guide is available at all civic facilities, local Safeway and Save On Foods stores or on the City’s web site.
