McLennan South Neighbourhood Park

Official Opening
Celebrate the opening of Richmond's newest neighbourhood park on Saturday, June 25.

McLennan South will provide you with an opportunity to gather with your neighbours or enjoy the serenity of walking or bird watching.

The park has been built around heritage and natural features, including a 11/2 acre perennial garden and a mature forested area, giving it unique character and beauty.

Official Opening Celebrations include:

2:30 p.m. Self-guided tours and assembly
3:00 p.m. Official opening by Mayor and Council
3:30 p.m. Dedication of the sculpture 'The House of Roots', and performance by the Richmond choir  'Voice Stream'

Information on future park development and this summer’s community art project will be available.
