The Heritage Fairs Program is designed to create an innovative and captivating learning environment for students which strengthens students’ knowledge of the diversity and uniqueness of Canadian heritage. Providing young people with the opportunity to develop strong roots in their community and culture will give them the confidence to fully share as active citizens shaping Canada’s future. Select projects from each province will advance to the National Heritage Fair held in Saskatoon in July 2005.
