On Saturday, November 19 of this year, the City of Richmond will be holding an election. Richmond residents will elect a Mayor and eight Councillors for the City of Richmond, and seven School Trustees for the Richmond School District.

Confirm that you are registered on the existing List of Electors for the November 19, 2005 Civic Election

Update changes to your name or address as shown on the List of Electors

Election Office staff at City Hall will verify the information on the List of Electors for you. Call the Election Office at 604-276-4100, or come into the office at Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road, weekdays from 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). Stop at the Information Counter on the first floor for directions to the Election Office.

Qualifications to Register to VOTE:

You must be:

  • a Canadian citizen
  • 18 years of age on election day
  • Resident of BC for 6 months
  • Resident of Richmond for 30 days
  • You must not be disqualified by law from voting
