Voting by mail ballot is permitted only for those electors who have a physical disability, illness or injury which affects their ability to vote by other means, or by persons who expect to be absent from the municipality on general voting day and at the times of all advance voting opportunities.
Electors voting by mail ballot must sign a statement indicating that they qualify for a mail ballot. Those electors wishing to vote by mail ballot may request a mail ballot package by contacting the Election Office. Mail ballot packages will be available for distribution in early November.
Please call the Election Office at 604-276-4100 to make arrangements to vote using a mail-in ballot.
Special Voting Provisions for Residents in Care Facilities
As in previous years, voting opportunities will be provided for residents of care facilities who would otherwise not be able to attend a voting place on General Voting Day.
Arrangements will be made for a mobile poll to visit Minoru Residence, Gilmore Gardens, Courtyard Gardens, Fraserview Intermediate Care Lodge, Richmond Lions Manor, Rosewood Manor and Pinegrove Place. Only residents of the facilities will be able to vote at the mobile polls.
The dates of the mobile polling will be posted on this site once arrangements are finalized.
