Candidate Nominations
Nominations for candidates for the Offices of MAYOR, COUNCILLOR (8 to be elected), and SCHOOL TRUSTEE (7 to be elected) will be received by the Chief Election Officer at the Richmond City Hall Election Office, 6911 No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC, at the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 9 am – 5pm;
- Wednesday, October 5, 2011 through Thursday, October 13, 2011, 8:30 am – 5 pm (weekdays)
- Friday, October 14, 2011, 8:30 am – 4 pm
Please note: No nominations can be accepted after 4:00 pm on Friday, October 14, 2011.
There is no fee to obtain a nomination and candidate information package or to file nomination papers.
Further requirements for nominations are provided in detail in the Nomination and Candidate Information Package which are available as a pdf download or for pick up at the Election Office, Room M.1.002, Richmond City Hall at 6911 No.3 Road.
