Cooperative Housing for Families
- A housing co-op is a non-profit organization whose members collectively own/manage a multiple-family development.
- After purchasing initial shares, members then individually lease their units from the co-op.
- Co-ops include some subsidized units whose tenants pay rent based on 30% of household income.
