Artist Submissions

Richmond Art Gallery accepts proposals from individuals, collaborating artists and curators for exhibitions annually. Work in all media will be considered.  Submissions may include no more than eight digital images, a CV, a description of the project and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Applications may be sent to: Richmond Art Gallery, 180-7700 Minoru Gate Richmond, BC, V6Y 1R9 .

The Richmond Art Gallery does not exhibit artwork which will also be exhibited in the Lower Mainland within six months, and does not re-exhibit artists work within a three-year period. 

Submission Requirements;

  • Completed slide list form and/or video form.
  • A Letter of Intent. The letter of intent should not exceed 300 words and  include a description of the artwork you want to show and what you are proposing to do in the gallery.
  • An Artist Statement.
  • A Curriculum Vitae
  • A budget for any extraordinary expenses such as travel or installation costs.
  • Self-addressed, stamped envelope
