Juried Artists Community Exhibit

RICHmond ARTS

8 June 2007 - 6 July  2007
Experience the creative wealth in your community!  RICHmond ARTS is a juried exhibition of local art, an Open Studio event and bus tour of selected artists’ studios and an Art Market Day.

Many new and exciting developments are taking place including a curatorial theme for the Juried Exhibition entitled:

"The Changing City"

What aspects of Richmond, past and present, inform our understandings of our communities and ourselves?  What is remembered and forgotten.  What has been a part of this place and what is to come?  What do we desire for the future of our city, our communities and ourselves?

This year's jury selection process will consider how submitted works relate to notions of our changing city and the questions, ideas, experiences and feelings engendered by them.

To be a part of this exhibition, fill in the application form below and bring it with your artwork to the Lecture Hall on June 4. (see below)
