Cultural Centre
The Richmond Cultural Centre is pleased to offer several rooms within the centre for private rentals. This page outlines the various rooms and their amenities as well as some of the rental costs and regulations associated with rentals.
General Information
- Room rental requests must be made at least 2-4 weeks in advance
- Space is not guaranteed until full payment is received.
- Full payment must be made upon booking to reserve space.
- A damage deposit is due with each rental ($200 or equal to the rental fee - whichever is higher)
- Insurance is required for all events
- The rooms are available for rent during the following hours, barring holidays:
- Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 9:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am - 4:30pm
Cultural Centre Lecture Hall
The Lecture Hall is a spacious room with a semi-circular stage area of approximately 125 square feet. It is suitable for corporate seminars, private ceremonies, performances and various other events.
Maximum capacity:
75 people seated at tables
120 people seated theatre-style
250 people standing
Rental Rates:
Minimum 3 hour rental - $200
Each additional hour (max 2) - $45
Boardroom
The Boardroom is situated in a quiet, private area in the Cultural Centre. It houses a large boardroom table that can be restructured into smaller tables. This makes the room perfect for meetings and small gatherings.
Maximum Capacity:
20 people seated at tables
Rental Rates:
Minimum 3 hour rental - $50
Each additional hour (max 2) - $12
Atrium Meeting Room
A wall of windows encompasses the Atrium Meeting Room. Suitable for seated or standing groups, this room is very adaptable.
Maximum Capacity:
30 people seated at tables
48 people seated theatre-style
60 people standing
Rental Rates:
Minimum 3 hour rental - $50
Each additional hour (max 2) $12

Gateway Theatre

Gateway Theatre is available for public rental. Stage a performance, hold a conference or a reception in this unique facility. An intimate venue ideal for workshops, lectures and presentations.
