Seven Ways to Pay Your Property Taxes and Your Water, Sewer, Drainage & Environmental Programs Bill
Pay by Mail Please mail your payment to City of Richmond, P.O. Box 94351, Richmond, BC V6X 8A8.
Postmarks will not be accepted as date of payment.
Pay Through epost
Receive and pay your tax bills and submit your Homeowner Grant applications forms through epost : the free online mail delivery service for Canada Post. When you sign up for epost , you receive a private and secure electronic mailbox ( epost box ) thats accessible any time from any computer with Internet access. Your payments and Homeowner Grant Application are receipted by confirmation number. Visit the epost website to sign up at www.epost.ca.

Pay at Your Bank or Credit Union
Most chartered banks in Canada and Credit Unions in Richmond offer this service. There may be a delay in processing payments through ATM machines. Please check with your financial institution.
Pay On Line or by Phone You must be a member of a bank or credit union that offers these services. Please use the your account number on your bills to set up the City of Richmond as a payee.
Call your branch for details. Remember to mail your Homeowner Grant Application separately to City Hall.
Pay by Drop Boxes at City Hall
Drop boxes are located at the front enterance (South side of the building) and at the back enterance (North side of the building), both at City Hall.
Pay in Person Bring your bill and payment to City Hall, Monday to Friday between 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (please be prepared to wait in line). There are a limited number of 30 minute parking spaces on the North side of City Hall (see parking map for more information).
Please note that credit cards are not accepted at City Hall.
Pay After Hours
Your payment may be dropped off at the City Hall drop box, located at the front (South side) and back (North side) of the building.
