Corporate Communications
The Communications office coordinates and/or provides corporate communications services for the City, including external and internal communications, communications planning, media relations, stakeholder relations, marketing, issues management and crisis communications. The Communications office also provides communications support to City Council.The Communications office ensures that all City communications reflect the Corporate Plan, including corporate values and priorities. The office is also responsible for ensuring that communications with all stakeholders are effective and accountable and adhere to professional standards. In addition, the Communications office is responsible for developing corporate communication policy and practise and coordinating communications training for staff.
