Councillor Evelina Halsey-Brandt
Evelina Halsey-Brandt was re-elected to Council in the Local General election held on November 16, 2002, on November 19, 2005, and again on November 15, 2008.Ev is Chair of the Planning Committee, and is a member of the following Standing Committees of Council: Finance; General Purposes; and Community Safety. She is a Council representative to the following advisory committees, organizations and community associations: the Oval Community Stakeholder/User Advisory Committee; the Richmond Centre for Disability; the City Centre Community Association; and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society.
Evelina and her husband Greg have a blended family of six children and four grandchildren. Boating, walking and reading are favourite pastimes for Evelina if she is not attending Council Meetings or on shift on the Burns, Plastics and Trauma Unit at VGH.
