Councillor Derek Dang
Derek first served on Council from 1996 to 2001, and was re-elected on November 16, 2002. He was again re-elected to Council in 2005 and again on November 15, 2008.Derek is Chair of the Community Safety Committee, and is a member of the following Standing Committees of Council: Finance; General Purposes and Public Works and Transportation. He is the Council representative to the Economic Advisory Committee; the Olympic Oval Stakeholder/User Advisory Committee; the South Arm Community Association; the Advisory Committee on the Environment; the Richmond Public Library Board (alternate); the Lower Mainland Treaty Advisory Committee (alternate); and the Minoru Seniors Society.
