The City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) Inquiry Tool offers expanded service that links the City’s extensive property information databases with current listings of properties and homes for sale. It’s one stop shopping for buyers looking to learn more about properties for sale and the surrounding neighbourhood, a first in the region.
Richmond’s GIS Inquiry Tool, which is available to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week through this website, already offers a wealth of information on local property. It includes everything from legal descriptions and servicing and zoning information for every property in Richmond to aerial photos of most Richmond properties to detailed information on City and community services in a given neighbourhood and throughout Richmond. The extensive property information on the GIS Inquiry Tool will indicate if a particular home or property is listed for sale, with nightly updates of the information.
